In the 10th minute Luisito Frances shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match El Cementerio got a corner. Slovakia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Otsando ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alonzo Blanco advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 11th minute. Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Gallet, made in the 14th minute of the game. El Cementerio's Felippe Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metod Mlynar in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Daniel Suchy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. El Cementerio's Alonzo Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anacleto Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Pavol Koleno fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Pavol Koleno a yellow card for diving instead. Vít Biskup charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vít Biskup the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Alonzo Blanco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Slovakia's Vít Biskup quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pontus Jönsätt, made in the 44th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Alonzo Blanco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Luisito Frances notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Slovakia's Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 60 minutes of play Slovakia's Vít Biskup was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Metod Mlynar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felippe Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When Alonzo Blanco came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the El Cementerio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Blanco couldn't finish the play. After 70 minutes of play, El Cementerio's Luisito Frances made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, El Cementerio's Eusebio Piorno got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Celestino Distiratsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Maximo Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Cementerio's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Sauveur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes El Cementerio got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Sauveur. In the 90th minute, Silvestre Urre made a precise shot to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Distiratsu in the 94th minute of play. Silvestre Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. El Cementerio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
