Euloxu Muelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Magdaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egoitz Companys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Baldemer Abrego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Club Getafe Deportivo's zone, Maximo Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Euloxu Muelas came out of the goal and Maximo Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes Galáctico Azul FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Xabel. Club Getafe Deportivo's Euloxu Muelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Vincent in the 18th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Club Getafe Deportivo's Amancio Orozco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Belasko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Enrique Belasko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Orozco went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 34 minutes of play, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Eulalio Vincent made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Euloxu Muelas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 36 played minutes Galáctico Azul FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Derwin. Club Getafe Deportivo's Euloxu Muelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Magdaleno in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Orozco in the 43rd minute of play forced Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Euloxu Muelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Adán Villar fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Getafe Deportivo's protests and gave Adán Villar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Adán Villar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Generoso Michael reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Euloxu Muelas. The goal made the score 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Vincent got free with Euloxu Muelas in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximo Cutberto hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, Galáctico Azul FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Cutberto to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahoma Abrego, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Generoso Michael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galáctico Azul FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Michael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Euloxu Muelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Vincent in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Euloxu Muelas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Ellande. Jose Tiso hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Euloxu Muelas was a little too slow when Eulalio Vincent got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-4. Casimiro Ellande received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Euloxu Muelas came out and tried to block the shot, but Casimiro Ellande slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 96th minute.
