The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Viqueira got free with Rollo Duguid in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute Jose Manuel Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrosko Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Esteban Cambiasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boomer Fc and the Altermundi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Boomer Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Cambiasso to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Boomer Fc got a freekick which was hit by Zuriko Ramirez. Arrosko Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Manuel Barbosa in the 20th minute of play. The wind increased when Jose Manuel Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. The Altermundi FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Altermundi FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
