Miromir Ciszewski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bodo Jermann. When Eugenio Zarrella came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC Lugano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Zarrella couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Zarrella in the 17th minute of play forced Endorfina Dukla's goalkeeper Miromir Ciszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugenio Zarrella kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miromir Ciszewski. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. FC Lugano:s Godo Gøl showed great skill when he stopped Slawomir Kempka:s penalty. Witomir Solibieda came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Godo Gøl could save by the left post. Piedro Marois hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. FC Lugano made a substitution. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Emennegger couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Lugano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Endorfina Dukla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
