With an all-out effort, Militros F.C.'s Zvezdan Nedeljkovic threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filipe Medeiros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joaquim da Cunha made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Serbia's Borjan Golubovic. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borjan Golubovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Anísio Zanussi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Militros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Anísio Zanussi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Medeiros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 36th minute, Cvijetin Nanusevski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Joaquim da Cunha in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Serbia's Borjan Golubovic. Jovan Borisov hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

After 54 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Jovan Borisov. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sreten Popovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borjan Golubovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim da Cunha during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Joaquim da Cunha hit a great ball. 63 minutes in the game Edvaldo Zanussi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anísio Zanussi. In the 65th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sreten Popovic to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes, Borjan Golubovic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serbia and the Militros F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Borjan Golubovic hit a great ball. After 68 minutes, Dráuzio de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sreten Popovic in the 75th minute of play forced Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper Erasmo Zanussi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sreten Popovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sreten Popovic struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Erasmo Zanussi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serbia. Diguinho da Rocha got a throw-in 86 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Anísio Zanussi. If Filipe Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sreten Popovic blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Zanussi having to make a save.
