Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Scotland's Zac O'Donnell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexander Higgins. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Alexander Higgins made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Yan Zonta sent off a good shot on target. Yan Zonta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Alexander Higgins made a huge save. Fletcher Main received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Paulo Victor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Leonardo de Lara fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alexander Higgins, passed just outside the right post. Leonardo de Lara was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alexander Higgins didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bautista Quintero. Severino Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Esporte Clube Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Severino Vieira. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Zonta in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Esporte Clube Pilar booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zac O'Donnell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Zonta in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexander Higgins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Yan Zonta put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alexander Higgins. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Yan Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. If Bautista Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yan Zonta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Alexander Higgins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yan Zonta to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Higgins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After a rather tough play, Scotland's Jack MacKinnon got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alexander Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scotland's goalie prevented a goal. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yan Zonta in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Higgins saved Scotland from getting behind. Severino Vieira struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alexander Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esporte Clube Pilar. The attack was good, but when Bautista Quintero in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Nando Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nando Gerber took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Alexander Higgins didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 91st minute, Dito Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Higgins was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Leonardo de Lara scored 11-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esporte Clube Pilar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
