After 3 minutes, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arsenal's Matias Mon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Matias Mon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Mon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 9 minutes of play, Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Mon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Arsenal's Matias Mon. Matias Mon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 20th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Matias Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Mon. Arsenal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Alf Bållström hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matias Mon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink ran back to his position shaking his head. Matias Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Mon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Juan Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Älta BK's David Trulsson got control of the ball when Marcelino Farias tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Mon. Arsenal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Matias Mon. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal's goalkeeper Matias Mon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Matias Mon. The Arsenal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Älta BK were winning 0-8.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Belarmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matias Mon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but John de Jong showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 53 minute of play. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Mon came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 58th minute. Matias Mon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Älta BK's Alfons Gregersson was substituted for Marko Alströmmer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 69th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Matias Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Mon came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink. But to his dismay, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Älta BK's Alfons Gregersson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Baldomero Lore, made in the 74th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, John de Jong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älta BK's supporters rose to their feet, but John de Jong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Mon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matias Mon came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Älta BK's Alfons Gregersson. But to his dismay, Alfons Gregersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. Juan Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Matias Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Matias Mon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 88 minutes into the game, Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Mon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-16. The Arsenal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Älta BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
