The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. It was a penalty for Passa o Tanque MZ! Ren Peng Fei shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 22nd minute, Toninho Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, José Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Claudinei Paraense. Passa o Tanque MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Passa o Tanque MZ's goalkeeper Claudinei Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Ramos. Claudinei Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Toledano in the 32nd minute of the match. Claudinei Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Toledano in the 34th minute. Claudinei Paraense came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s José Ramos. But to his dismay, José Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Claudinei Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Ramos in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Passa o Tanque MZ's Sidnei Abreu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 48 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Izydor Marud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Izydor Marud to strike the kick off in the second half. Toninho Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genílson França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Lorenzo De Paredes made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Genílson França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the game, Izydor Marud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Claudinei Paraense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Passa o Tanque MZ getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sidnei Abreu hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Passa o Tanque MZ defense, José Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinei Paraense. The Passa o Tanque MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinei Paraense should have stopped the shot. Passa o Tanque MZ's Claudinei Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Ramos in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Toledano in the 74th minute of play forced Passa o Tanque MZ's goalkeeper Claudinei Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Passa o Tanque MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Toledano came free, but Claudinei Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Sidnei Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Passa o Tanque MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo De Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudinei Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute José Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Jesus Santikurtz notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Passa o Tanque MZ's Claudinei Paraense. Claudinei Paraense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilson Amaral hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
