A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Argyris Kountouriotis hit a great ball. Kolopetinitsa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Vitinho Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Stergios Samartzis, making the score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Sokratis Kagiasis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gonçalo Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sokratis Kagiasis scored 1-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonçalo Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes, Dionysis Salaggoudis made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Mota 2017's Gonçalo Guimarães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th match minute, Kolopetinitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniil Panagopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Fred Alvarenga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stergios Samartzis. Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Vitinho Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mota 2017's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitinho Montenegro got free with Stergios Samartzis in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitinho Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stergios Samartzis having to interfere. Christodoulos Kolevas kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Vitinho Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitinho Montenegro made a kick off. Stergios Samartzis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitinho Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 57 played minutes Mota 2017 got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Bueno. Vitinho Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Stergios Samartzis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Montenegro in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kolopetinitsa's zone, Vitinho Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stergios Samartzis came out of the goal and Vitinho Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Christodoulos Kolevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Stergios Samartzis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match Mota 2017 got a corner. Kolopetinitsa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fred Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mota 2017's Fred Alvarenga to fire away a dangerous shot which Stergios Samartzis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sílvio Bueno took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stergios Samartzis. Stergios Samartzis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Stergios Samartzis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitinho Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The corner led Mota 2017's Fred Alvarenga to fire away a dangerous shot which Stergios Samartzis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sílvio Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Stergios Samartzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sílvio Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kolopetinitsa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
