When Enaut Ziguenza fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s protests and gave Enaut Ziguenza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Enaut Ziguenza hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Lambros Karpodinis came free, but Lorenzo De Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ricardo Arias hit a great ball. Daniil Panagopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo De Paredes having to interfere. Nasos Aggeliou kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s José Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Marud in the 25th minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Stergios Samartzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Marud came free, but Stergios Samartzis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Izydor Marud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Stergios Samartzis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo De Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lambros Karpodinis in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Izydor Marud took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Stergios Samartzis to make any attempt to save it. José Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Stergios Samartzis made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionysis Salaggoudis to make the kick off. When Daniil Panagopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Kolopetinitsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniil Panagopoulos couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, José Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters rose to their feet, but José Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stergios Samartzis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Izydor Marud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Stergios Samartzis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Marud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kolopetinitsa's Stergios Samartzis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Marud in the 68th minute of play. Spyros Kenteris kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ren Peng Fei managed to get in a good position for a shot. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ren Peng Fei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stergios Samartzis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kolopetinitsa's zone, Ren Peng Fei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stergios Samartzis came out of the goal and Ren Peng Fei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Toledano hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Miguel Toledano came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Toledano couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Izydor Marud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stergios Samartzis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kolopetinitsa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
