Luis Tauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Mendes in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Manuel Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Cauan Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A. A. SAQUAREMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imрêriо Aztêćâ the free kick. After 7 played minutes A. A. SAQUAREMA got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Gaúcho. With a little luck, Imрêriо Aztêćâ's Luis Tauro got control of the ball when Bobbo á Neystabø tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Imрêriо Aztêćâ's Daniel Gai got a free kick in the 11th minute. A hard shot by Cauan Gaúcho from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Luis Tauro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 20th minute, Gaston Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Trevisan in the 25th minute of play forced Imрêriо Aztêćâ's goalkeeper Luis Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Tauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bobbo á Neystabø in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Fábio Salgado suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Imрêriо Aztêćâ's Faustino Hegoi got a free kick in the 31st minute. Luis Tauro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bobbo á Neystabø sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes Imрêriо Aztêćâ got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Salomone. 35 minutes into the match, Imрêriо Aztêćâ's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Trevisan came free, but Luis Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobbo á Neystabø in the 37th minute of play. After 45 minutes, Gaston Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imрêriо Aztêćâ and the A. A. SAQUAREMA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Gaston Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bobbo á Neystabø to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Manuel Velasco could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which César Vergílio however easily saved by the left post. Bobbo á Neystabø took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Tauro. Luis Tauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 61 minutes Imрêriо Aztêćâ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bobbo á Neystabø who took care of the corner kick. A. A. SAQUAREMA's Bobbo á Neystabø was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luis Tauro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 72nd minute, Bobbo á Neystabø made a precise shot to the right of Luis Tauro. Imрêriо Aztêćâ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Manuel Velasco took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for César Vergílio to make any attempt to save it. 83 minutes into the match, Leonardo Salomone notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of A. A. SAQUAREMA's César Vergílio. César Vergílio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Trevisan in the 93rd minute of play forced Imрêriо Aztêćâ's goalkeeper Luis Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
