Robert Steffens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Älta BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John de Jong in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on Älta BK's corner John de Jong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robert Steffens quite easily take care of the ball. JS 22's Robert Steffens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 22nd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Marko Alströmmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Steffens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the game, one of JS 22:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Adilson Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the JS 22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Tepedino couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Marko Alströmmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Steffens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älta BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Steffens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Steffens prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
