The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeca Fernandez got free with Crişan Taffarel in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Crişan Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Inguma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Cidro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's Zeca Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Crişan Taffarel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manuel Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crişan Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Efraim in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeca Fernandez. 28 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's Cenan Savlet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Ipar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobos de Carelia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amador Francesco was slow to take the kick. During this time Ciclista FC's players had a chance to rest. Carlos Vincent hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Adolfo Gombal might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Crişan Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Gombal ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciclista FC's Cenan Savlet got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lobos de Carelia getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Xu Ran Zhen hit a great ball. A collision led to Ciclista FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Justo Osorio hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Efraim came free, but Crişan Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeca Fernandez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Crişan Taffarel firmly grabbed it by the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Prospero Inguma notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel. Crişan Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Crişan Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeca Fernandez went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico was substituted for Zeca Fernandez. Amancio Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Inguma in the 83rd minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Cheche in the 85th minute of play. Prospero Inguma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Cheche scored 4-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Crişan Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lobos de Carelia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
