An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Hug in the 5th minute of play forced Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Chan in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Victor Chan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Crişan Taffarel. Ciclista FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Chan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's Cenan Savlet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afiz Teo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afiz Teo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cenan Savlet went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 34th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Soon to maneuver through the defense. Crişan Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ron Boon sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute Cenan Savlet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Afiz Teo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Dogel in the 51st minute. 58 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Francesco came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afiz Teo was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Cenan Savlet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cenan Savlet really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Bo Dogel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Afiz Teo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Crişan Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the game, Amador Francesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciclista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redbourn AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ciclista FC's Amador Francesco got a free kick in the 68th minute. Crişan Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Chan in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Dogel got free with Afiz Teo in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cenan Savlet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cenan Savlet hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute of the match, Bo Dogel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Afiz Teo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 84 played minutes Ciclista FC got a freekick which was hit by Bo Dogel. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Redbourn AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Redbourn AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ciclista FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
