In the 22nd minute, Isidoro Giraldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Antonio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Christian Wallner hit a great ball. The supporters of Austria booed when San Antonio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Robustiano Eladio in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Austria's Marc Kronecker.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Giraldo to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Giraldo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. Fabio Auer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Giraldo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, San Antonio FC's Santiago Gaskon got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Marvin Harrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leonhard Maier fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austria's protests and gave Leonhard Maier a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Leonhard Maier hit a great ball. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Antonio FC the free kick. After 87 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marc Kronecker. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Antonio FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
