After 26 played minutes La Gagoneta got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Oliverios. 29 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfredo Zanussi. Cusco FC's Marcelo Quexada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cusco FC from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cresitobalo Rilo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when 曲宽义 came free, but Marcelo Quexada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Gagoneta's Cosme Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabon Salantes in the 56th minute of play. La Gagoneta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tymoteusz Cetnar in the 59th minute. The corner ended in Tymoteusz Cetnar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cusco FC's Marcelo Quexada did a great save. 60 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Zanussi came free, but Marcelo Quexada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute 曲宽义 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Quexada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfredo Zanussi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Quexada having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Cusco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Manfredo Zanussi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Quexada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Marco Peio with Patricio Asur as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Carlos Zambrano kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The throw-in from Carlos Zambrano in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Gagoneta's Dionisio Elazar.
