When Zdzislaw Biraga came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the 1909 Tarnovia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdzislaw Biraga couldn't finish the play. Victor Curea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Prosper Vandamme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1909 Tarnovia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Französisch Buchholz FC's Matthias Pütz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 31st minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Zdzislaw Biraga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Französisch Buchholz FC's Matthias Pütz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Maiko Kottsieper hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Biraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Matthias Pütz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Grocholski in the 61st minute of play forced Französisch Buchholz FC's goalkeeper Matthias Pütz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prosper Vandammes short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Matthias Pütz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 64 in the game by Zdzislaw Biraga from a close distance when the talented Matthias Pütz managed to make a qualified save. Französisch Buchholz FC's players were relieved. In the 73rd minute of the match 1909 Tarnovia got a corner. Französisch Buchholz FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zdzislaw Biraga ran over to the corner to take the kick. 1909 Tarnovia's Herbert Wisniewski was substituted for Jerzy Grocholski. The crowd rose to their feet as Prosper Vandamme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matthias Pütz. That made the score 0-6 in the 79 minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Prosper Vandamme notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Französisch Buchholz FC's Matthias Pütz. Matthias Pütz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
