Victor Curea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Victor Curea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Presebal in the 15th minute of the match. Gabirel Garantos kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Volvio Moreno's Manuel Loren got control of the ball when Zdzislaw Biraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Pisarcik in the 34th minute of play forced Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Manuel Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1909 Tarnovia's Karol Pisarcik managed to work through Volvio Moreno's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zenon Hetman got free with Manuel Loren in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Prosper Vandamme made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 53rd minute of play forced Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Manuel Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabirel Garantos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Victor Curea made a huge save. Victor Curea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Barrionuevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute of the match 1909 Tarnovia got a corner. Volvio Moreno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zenon Hetman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led 1909 Tarnovia's Zenon Hetman to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Loren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gabirel Garantos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Victor Curea made a huge save. 1909 Tarnovia made a substitution. Herbert Wisniewski replaced Jerzy Grocholski. 95 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Prosper Vandamme came free, but Manuel Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Volvio Moreno's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
