Cristian Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivo Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute, Guilherme Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Erasmo Ramalho got a free kick in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Mattos came free, but Ivo Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Imbituba - FSCMZ's Guilherme Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristian Furlan. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. In the 25th match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Mattos to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes Bitelon FC - SAF got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Quadros. In the 28th match minute, Bitelon FC - SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Bitelon FC - SAF's Cristian Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Vieira in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Bitelon FC - SAF booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Bitelon FC - SAF's Ian Queirós looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dagoberto Eger made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Guilherme Souza however managed to control. Guilherme Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesinha Vieira had several of the Bitelon FC - SAF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Cristian Furlan as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesinha Vieira was the one to do the kick off. If Guilherme Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vinícius Leão's late challenge caught a Bitelon FC - SAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinícius Leão helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Vinícius Leão got a free kick in the 57th minute. Cristian Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Souza went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ian Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Ramalho having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Erasmo Ramalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bitelon FC - SAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imbituba - FSCMZ the free kick. A collision led to Bitelon FC - SAF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Erasmo Ramalho hit a great ball. Cesinha Vieira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Furlan. Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 70 minutes, Enéas Soeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bitelon FC - SAF and the Imbituba - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Bitelon FC - SAF got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Soeiro. 71 minutes into the game, Guilherme Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Cristian Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruninho Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruninho Quadros hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bitelon FC - SAF's zone, Guilherme Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Furlan came out of the goal and Guilherme Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Cristóvão Linares was substituted for Cesinha Vieira. Bitelon FC - SAF's Cristian Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Linares in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Guilherme Souza notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Bitelon FC - SAF's Cristian Furlan. Cristian Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute Guilherme Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Ivo Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Neves in the 90th minute of play. Cristian Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Bruninho Quadros threw the ball into play from the sideline. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Júnior Mattos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cristian Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Imbituba - FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
