Bitelon FC - SAF's Aílton Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Gullit in the 23rd minute of play. Bitelon FC - SAF's Aílton Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Bitelon FC - SAF from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Bitelon FC - SAF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Enéas Soeiro hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Delfim de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Aílton Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Gullit in the 52nd minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Pragmáticos 1903's Thierry Henry made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aílton Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aílton Lopez came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Pragmáticos 1903's Thierry Henry. But to his dismay, Thierry Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 85 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Puskás came free, but Aílton Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murillo Neves during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pragmáticos 1903's José Vítor Félix was substituted for Ruud Gullit.
