Lauro Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Aivar Veiderma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Vae Victis!! booed when Aidu Metskonna Pöörased was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Raudsoo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Délio Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Vae Victis!! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Délio Tasso couldn't finish the play. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Tenno, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute Valter Tenno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Harald Tähismaa came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Aidu Metskonna Pöörased fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Tähismaa couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute of the match Vae Victis!! got a corner. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Délio Tasso ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 41st minute Délio Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivar Veiderma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Gerd Veskis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitório Pimenta made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Gerd Veskis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Pimenta got free with Aivar Veiderma in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Dorian Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aivar Veiderma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Vae Victis!! made a substitution. Ezequiel Hermes replaced Ivo Domingues. Vae Victis!!'s Falcão Garcia was substituted for Vitório Pimenta. Gerd Veskis might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerd Veskis ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Gerd Veskis came free, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Gerd Veskis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Vae Victis!!'s Bebeto Dantas was substituted for Dorian Neto. 84 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s Lauro Sarmento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aivar Veiderma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Ezequiel Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerd Veskis in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Gabriel Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes, Gerd Veskis made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 played minutes Vae Victis!! got a freekick which was hit by Délio Tasso. In the 92nd match minute, Aidu Metskonna Pöörased was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahti Lausmäe to maneuver through the defense. The Vae Victis!! supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vae Victis!! would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
