Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raúl Sarmento started the match with the kick off. Alcino Abrantes came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marzagão's Brooks Shields. But to his dismay, Brooks Shields quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, SANFINS VLP's Eliseu Vital got a free kick in the 5th minute. Alcino Abrantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brooks Shields in the 9th minute of the match. Raúl Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Brooks Shields had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Branco during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Donato Branco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SANFINS VLP defense, Raúl Sarmento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alcino Abrantes. The SANFINS VLP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alcino Abrantes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Sarmento in the 19th minute of play forced SANFINS VLP's goalkeeper Alcino Abrantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marzagão's Mané Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Marzagão from getting a goal against them. If Raúl Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SANFINS VLP's André Valadares got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Raúl Sarmento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alcino Abrantes. SANFINS VLP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raúl Sarmento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Raúl Sarmento hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Sarmento in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alcino Abrantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34th play minutes Raúl Sarmento shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Alcino Abrantes and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Marzagão booed when SANFINS VLP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Idalécio Brochado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, André Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alcino Abrantes having to interfere. Donato Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvano Veiga was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betão Tinoco got free with Alcino Abrantes in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Raúl Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alcino Abrantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brooks Shields in the 58th minute of the match. Brooks Shields recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Raúl Sarmento made a precise shot to the right of Alcino Abrantes. SANFINS VLP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Brooks Shields sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 69 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Sarmento. Brooks Shields recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
