The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, Martín Ulloa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal and Martín Ulloa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enaut Ziguenza to maneuver through the defense. Cordarrol Vallejoller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cordarrol Vallejoller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Délio Tasso was slow to take the kick. During this time Vae Victis!!'s players had a chance to rest. 16 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Sarmento came free, but Cordarrol Vallejoller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martín Ulloa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Cabral having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Martín Ulloa came free, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Martín Ulloa sped through Vae Victis!!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Cabral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cordarrol Vallejoller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Enaut Ziguenza's late challenge caught a Vae Victis!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enaut Ziguenza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Enaut Ziguenza got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Lauro Sarmento notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Cordarrol Vallejoller. Cordarrol Vallejoller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiago Gabriel Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa. But to his dismay, Martín Ulloa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitório Pimenta made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Cabral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Cordarrol Vallejoller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório Pimenta. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Martín Ulloa managed to get in a good position for a shot. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters rose to their feet, but Martín Ulloa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Gabriel Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cordarrol Vallejoller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Sarmento in the 58th minute of the match. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vae Victis!! made a substitution. Ezequiel Hermes replaced Ivo Domingues. Lauro Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Gabriel Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ren Peng Fei kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Vae Victis!!'s Bebeto Dantas was substituted for Dorian Neto. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Ren Peng Fei got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Gabriel Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martín Ulloa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Cordarrol Vallejoller managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Vae Victis!!'s Falcão Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Martín Ulloa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martín Ulloa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Gabriel Cabral having to make a save. After 93 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Enaut Ziguenza. Vae Victis!!'s Lauro Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
