Rhys Dimmock was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Edgard Macedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgard Macedo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Macedo got free with Rhys Dimmock in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rhys Dimmock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hardo Vatsar in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lane in the 16th minute of play forced RumpBell's goalkeeper Wincent Trac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Macedo in the 17th minute of play. Rhys Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Kirkpatrick in the 21st minute of play forced RumpBell's goalkeeper Wincent Trac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Edgard Macedo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rhys Dimmock. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zack Grier during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Grier to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Macedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Rhys Dimmock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. RumpBell's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zenon Pysz in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Rúben Fagundes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Balaeț to maneuver through the defense. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rúben Fagundes in the 34th minute of play. After 53 played minutes RumpBell got a freekick which was hit by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Pysz in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind RumpBell's goalkeeper Wincent Trac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgard Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, RumpBell's Wincent Trac got control of the ball when Fred Kirkpatrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Edgard Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rhys Dimmock. Zamalek FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Wincent Trac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Leonardo Lane took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wincent Trac. Wincent Trac dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 74 minutes into the match, RumpBell's goal looked a bit too open when Sergey Krasinskiy came free, but Wincent Trac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Fred Kirkpatrick elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fred Kirkpatrick was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Zamalek FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Zamalek FC's Tytus Banaszak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wincent Trac. That made the score 4-3 after 81 minutes of play. Zamalek FC made a substitution. Daron Joseph replaced Leonardo Lane. Zbigniew Zajac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RumpBell's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Daron Joseph scored to the left of an out of position Wincent Trac, making the score, 4-4. In the 95th minute, Fred Kirkpatrick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wincent Trac was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zamalek FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
