In the 13th minute, Romão Mourato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 minutes, Osvaldo Somoza made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. LOS HUITOS's Florentino Weterio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Revolución Joao FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after LOS HUITOS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Osvaldo Somoza took the corner.
