Jon Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heigo Luiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Matos Velhos's Mike van Kampen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Matos Velhos from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd match minute, Andarilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Mike van Kampen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fu Han Qiang in the 42nd minute. Jon Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heigo Luiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Andarilhos getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jarbas Pinheiro hit a great ball. Matos Velhos's Murilo Lisboa was substituted for Domingos Palmeira. Jarbas Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Lisandro Vigil fired a really elegant long shot, but Jon Oblak threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Jon Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Candal in the 78th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Antony Bruno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Matos Velhos's Tord Böcklund tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Adalberto Peres took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jon Oblak. Jon Oblak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Matos Velhos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
