Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zigmantas Gimbutas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Januário Rangel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio-César Romo-Leroux to maneuver through the defense. Januário Rangel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Liang Mo in the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Januário Rangel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurício Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Antonio Adán made a huge save. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 24th minute of the match. Antonio Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. SC Braga's Antonio Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 27th minute of play. Antonio Adán made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Maurício Meireles sent off a good shot on target. Januário Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 31st minute of play. MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes MEXACOMX's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Jordão who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Amado Parente got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Januário Rangel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zigmantas Gimbutas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januário Rangel having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Aang 张飞 in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SC Braga's Alberto Malheiro. The MEXACOMX players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Braga were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Guerra made a kick off. Ricardo Guerra scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Adán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Braga made a substitution. Geraldo Lucas replaced André Jordão. Januário Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Jon-Egil Sætre got a free kick in the 70th minute. After recieving a nice pass, MEXACOMX's Julio-César Romo-Leroux tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Guerra in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 76th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 78th minute of the match. Januário Rangel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Quintino Carvalhais made a great header on SC Braga's corner, it was just that MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 94th minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Charl De Metser hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Braga walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
