The shot was a little too simple and Mao Zhen Hong could save by the left post. 24 minutes into the match, Sporting DoutroMundo's Trym Johnsrud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mao Zhen Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boruc Brysz made a great header on Academia Monte Gordo's corner, it was just that Sporting DoutroMundo's Serafim Eanes managed to reach the ball for a save. Christian Westerstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Serafim Eanes made a huge save. Sporting DoutroMundo's Trym Johnsrud got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Academia Monte Gordo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Academia Monte Gordo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
