With an all-out effort, Matos Velhos's Eriberto Bonadona threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sabino Vilhena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 6 minutes into the match, Mira United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Candal came free, but Eriberto Bonadona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Matos Velhos's Sabino Vilhena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eriberto Bonadona. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Eriberto Bonadona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heigo Luiga in the 10th minute. A collision led to Mira United FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Higinio Abar hit a great ball. Eriberto Bonadona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Candal in the 12th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Matos Velhos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feng Cheng Ling was slow to take the kick. During this time Mira United FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Ademar Ramires managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Matos Velhos's Mike van Kampen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Neiva in the 18th minute of play. Eriberto Bonadona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Fagundes in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Gregório Neiva notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Matos Velhos's Mike van Kampen. Mike van Kampen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Henrique Candal made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Bonadona. Mira United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a little luck, Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona got control of the ball when Heigo Luiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 played minutes Mira United FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregório Neiva. Sabino Vilhena scored 3-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eriberto Bonadona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gregório Neiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Mike van Kampen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregório Neiva in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregório Neiva got free with Mike van Kampen in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregório Neiva succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 58th playminute. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heigo Luiga in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heigo Luiga in the 63rd minute of play forced Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Feng Cheng Ling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Murilo Lisboa replaced Domingos Palmeira. 77 minutes into the match, Gregório Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mike van Kampen. Matos Velhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregório Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 83rd minute, Gregório Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mike van Kampen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. 88 minutes into the match, Mira United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Nietlisbach came free, but Eriberto Bonadona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Bonadona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Vilhena in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Vilhena in the 91st minute of play forced Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike van Kampen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregório Neiva in the 96th minute. Nel Ybarbo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Although Matos Velhos had been in control for most of the match, Mira United FC still came away with the win.
