Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Garcia in the 86th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Jonas Garcia made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 92 minutes, Jonas Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D.ESMOJÃES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cassiano Brochado kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Eduardo Bulhosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ponte do Carro were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over A.D.ESMOJÃES's much stronger midfield.
