Radul Tishev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Adán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 23rd minute of play. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Duarte in the 29th minute of the match. Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Antonio Adán threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Golo Duarte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Valdomiro Lira hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zigmantas Gimbutas to strike the kick off in the second half. Duarte Duarte came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas. But to his dismay, Zigmantas Gimbutas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Duarte in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Duarte in the 68th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Adán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radul Tishev's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Braga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
