After 4 minutes of play, Minho FC's Magno Aparecido made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Caetano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Oargă. Yu Ran Zhen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viseu United's Jorge Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Aparecido in the 30th minute of play. Minho FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Viseu United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yu Ran Zhen took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ivo Mourato got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Caetano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amado Salazar struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. André Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viseu United. In the 40thth minute of the game Magno Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viseu United's Jorge Caetano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Amado Salazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viseu United's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Salazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes in the game Leandro Paulista did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Amado Salazar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Salazar was the one to do the kick off. When João Pádua fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viseu United's protests and gave João Pádua a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by João Pádua. Minho FC's Antero Mendes was substituted for Salah el Din Khan. After 71 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by João Pádua. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magno Aparecido got free with Jorge Caetano in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Minho FC's Magno Aparecido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Magno Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jorge Caetano made a huge save. Minho FC made a substitution. Hélder Soveral replaced Magno Aparecido. In the 93rd minute, Hélder Soveral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorge Caetano. The goal made the score 1-4. Ziemowit Gdowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Figueiredo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Gdowski in the 95th minute of play forced Minho FC's goalkeeper André Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Minho FC played a much better game than Viseu United and deserved their victory. The Viseu United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
