F.C booed when MZ Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vygantas Petrošius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Gama was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükrü Yazargil in the 15th minute of play. Albino Cugat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Pankracy Zajonc made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Albino Cugat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Zajonc. MZ Fénix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Cugat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cai Yuan Yuan struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Anselmo Gama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. Vygantas Petrošius hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükrü Yazargil in the 32nd minute of play. Vygantas Petrošius kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Granja. Pankracy Zajonc made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Albino Cugat sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

MACAU. F.C's Lourenço Vilanova was substituted for Aloísio Esteves. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cai Yuan Yuan to strike the kick off in the second half. Xiao Fenge made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Traian Iorda however managed to control. Remigio Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Gama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. MACAU. The score was now 2-3. 81 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Gama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match MACAU. F.C got a corner. MZ Fénix's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bater Pivetta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led MACAU. F.C's Bater Pivetta to fire away a dangerous shot which Pankracy Zajonc despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Cai Yuan Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anselmo Gama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 88th minute. Cai Yuan Yuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Anselmo Gama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Angelo Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MACAU. F.C getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Şükrü Yazargil hit a great ball. After 98 played minutes Cai Yuan Yuan rounded MACAU. F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. The MZ Fénix players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
