With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şükrü Yazargil in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qiu Chuan Ran saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. In the 15th minute Gonzalo Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Ventura got free with Anselmo Gama in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xiao Fenge struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Qiu Chuan Ran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MACAU. F.C. 23 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Traian Iorda came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Lixandro got free with Anselmo Gama in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükrü Yazargil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Lourenço Vilanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Şükrü Yazargil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Ventura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Anselmo Gama made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 34th minute of play forced MACAU. F.C's goalkeeper Anselmo Gama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MACAU. F.C's Anselmo Gama proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save MACAU. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Cugat got free with Qiu Chuan Ran in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MACAU. F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
