The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso. After 13 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Perathoner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Carvalhal in the 17th minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Ni Guang Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ni Guang Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Pinhote FC were awarded a corner. Damião Maia went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Damião Maia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Qiu Chuan Ran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sílvio Luís Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Qiu Chuan Ran made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Sílvio Luís Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qiu Chuan Ran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Rodríguez came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qiu Chuan Ran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Imre Hellinger in the 34th minute. After 37 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Israel Carvalhal. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Rodríguez in the 43rd minute of the match. Kaspar Bruns kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Rodríguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kaspar Bruns hit a great ball. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Claudemiro Madureira was substituted for Israel Carvalhal. After 57 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Kaspar Bruns. When Damião Maia came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Pinhote FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damião Maia couldn't finish the play. Qiu Chuan Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Rosen in the 62nd minute of play. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Kaspar Bruns shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ni Guang Yong but with some difficulty. In the 70th minute, Sílvio Luís Ceresso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Pinhote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kang Ning Yu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Rosen came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Miguel Rodríguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Pinhote FC's Miguel Rodríguez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qiu Chuan Ran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Miguel Rodríguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qiu Chuan Ran having to interfere. Pinhote FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
