Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Tálas in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 24th minute of play forced KINGS FC's goalkeeper Leal Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leal Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dabi Saens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jānis Blūms in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin van der Sar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandre Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Leal Simões made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dabi Saens in the 36th minute of play forced KINGS FC's goalkeeper Leal Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horia Taşcu kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Edwin van der Sar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Tálas went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as KINGS FC's Christian Szumlanski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edwin van der Sar. That made the score 1-3 after 53 minutes of play. Jerónimo Furtado hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Roman Quilo took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leal Simões. Leal Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Chants of KINGS FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as União Sport Clube Paredes had held the ball for most of the match.
