In the 18th minute MACAU. F.C were awarded a corner. Xiao Fenge went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led MACAU. F.C's Xiao Fenge to fire away a dangerous shot which Selahaddin Esentürk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience cheered when Xiao Fenge's long shot passed Selahaddin Esentürk's right side. It was 0-3, 18 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Nélson Sousa could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Anselmo Gama however easily saved by the left post. Anselmo Gama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of MACAU. F.C booed when AMLUCHO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzcan Lami didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Xiao Fenge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marconi Rock was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. Anselmo Gama had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Isidro Oliviero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 33rd minute of play forced MACAU. F.C's goalkeeper Anselmo Gama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind AMLUCHO's goalkeeper Selahaddin Esentürk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nélson Sousa got free with Anselmo Gama in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ştefan Șerbulea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Gama having to interfere. Selahaddin Esentürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nélson Sousa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro Oliviero to make the kick off. Anselmo Gama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nélson Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nélson Sousa in the 53rd minute of play forced MACAU. F.C's goalkeeper Anselmo Gama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Gama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Șerbulea in the 54th minute of the match. Isidro Oliviero's late challenge caught a MACAU. F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jhonny Smart couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jhonny Smart got free with Selahaddin Esentürk in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Selahaddin Esentürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhonny Smart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selahaddin Esentürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Selahaddin Esentürk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jhonny Smart in the 91st minute. When Remigio Fix fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MACAU. F.C's protests and gave Remigio Fix a yellow card for diving instead. Remigio Fix hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The MACAU. F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MACAU. F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
