With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Matias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pál Polyák in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Matias saved VB-Team from getting behind. In the 17th minute of the match SITIO CITY got a corner. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rubim Jordão ran over to the corner to take the kick. VB-Team's Baltasar Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pál Polyák in the 19th minute of play. Pál Polyák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baltasar Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Polyák, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Pál Polyák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Gervásio Severiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baltasar Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by VB-Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rubim Jordão was slow to take the kick. During this time SITIO CITY's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Campelo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baltasar Matias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. VB-Team's Baltasar Matias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. The supporters of SITIO CITY booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, SITIO CITY's Carlos Garcia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baltasar Matias. Baltasar Matias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. With an all-out effort, SITIO CITY's Baltasar Matias threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Campelo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 95 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Guerra. The SITIO CITY supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SITIO CITY would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
