In the 19th minute Jerónimo Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pál Polyák in the 22nd minute of play. SITIO CITY's Pál Polyák got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jerónimo Furtado sped through SITIO CITY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristiano Lage. 36 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Dabi Saens came free, but Cristiano Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerónimo Furtado to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Jerónimo Furtado came free, but Cristiano Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Polyák in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pál Polyák in the 58th minute of play forced União Sport Clube Paredes's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Rubim Jordão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edwin van der Sar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pál Polyák in the 63rd minute of the match. After 68 minutes, Jerónimo Furtado made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. SITIO CITY's Cristiano Lage tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. União Sport Clube Paredes's Horia Taşcu was substituted for Mehran Utandıbalayev. União Sport Clube Paredes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
