The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Luizão Castro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 6 minutes into the game, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Luizão Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabiano Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Caniggia in the 9th minute of play forced Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goalkeeper Fabiano Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Luizão Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Luizão Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Guilherme Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhan Ilıcak, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 26 minutes of play, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Luizão Castro made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabiano Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robert Serwacki took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Carlos-Henrique Casemiro to score against Fabiano Neto in Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goal. 0-5 after 35 minutes. Fabiano Neto came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Luizão Castro. But to his dismay, Luizão Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Luizão Castro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Pedro Ribeiro's late challenge caught a ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Ribeiro. Luizão Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Barreto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luizão Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Fabiano Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Castro in the 56th minute of play. After 59 played minutes ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Novaes. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette was substituted for Luizão Castro. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ made a substitution. Wambasther Sneijder replaced Cláudio Caniggia. The supporters of Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร booed when ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Zanette came free, but Fabiano Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as André Luís Zanette kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabiano Neto. That made the score 0-7 in the 67 minute of play. After some careless play in the Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร defense, André Luís Zanette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiano Neto. The Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiano Neto should have stopped the shot. Fabiano Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Zanette in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luís Zanette in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goalkeeper Fabiano Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Luís Zanette might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabiano Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Luís Zanette ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabiano Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Zanette in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, André Luís Zanette cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Fabiano Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Egon Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Neto came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette. But to his dismay, André Luís Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
