Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Carlos Mesquita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nico Furlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Carlos Mesquita in the 11th minute. Luciano Maciel made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Israel Otsando immediately put the ball in play. 14 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when William Magalhães came free, but Meng Yu Hui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Washington Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Meng Yu Hui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, João Carlos Mesquita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nico Furlan. João Carlos Mesquita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington Lira in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meng Yu Hui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Maciel. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Carlos Mesquita got free with Nico Furlan in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Richard da Fonseca to fire away a dangerous shot which Nico Furlan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Chiquinho Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DENVER™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa the free kick. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Chiquinho Silveira got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th play minute João Carlos Mesquita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nico Furlan. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Washington Lira made the kick off in the second half. Patrik Gribfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Mesquita came free, but Nico Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Meng Yu Hui made a huge save. In the 62nd minute of the match Richard da Fonseca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nico Furlan skillfully saved the ball. In the 65th minute João Carlos Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Carlos Mesquita in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Furlan saved DENVER™ from getting behind. Eric Burdon charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Burdon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Meng Yu Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Lira in the 71st minute of play. Meng Yu Hui made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Washington Lira sent off a good shot on target. If Thibault Delanoë had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meng Yu Hui came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by DENVER™'s Délio Campidelis. But to his dismay, Délio Campidelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Patrik Gribfeldt charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Gribfeldt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Patrik Gribfeldt hit a great ball. Patrik Gribfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
