The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Renato Augusto made a precise shot to the right of Nicolae Ceaușescu. Master Champion BMX Flat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Master Champion BMX Flat's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Véber came free, but Nicolae Ceaușescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolae Ceaușescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lei Feng Yan in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Châton in the 23rd minute of play forced Master Champion BMX Flat's goalkeeper Nicolae Ceaușescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Rostow in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Tobiasz Rostow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolae Ceaușescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Véber in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Matei Corona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esen Sanal. Matei Corona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Nicolae Ceaușescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Siekkötter in the 40th minute of the match. Nicolae Ceaușescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Augusto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobiasz Rostow made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Master Champion BMX Flat were awarded a corner. Aarne Mikkola went to the cornerflag to take it. Lei Feng Yan scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolae Ceaușescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Paulo Meireles hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolae Ceaușescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Augusto in the 60th minute of play forced Master Champion BMX Flat's goalkeeper Nicolae Ceaușescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Lei Feng Yan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolae Ceaușescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Master Champion BMX Flat from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Master Champion BMX Flat's Tobiasz Rostow got a free kick in the 74th minute. A collision led to Master Champion BMX Flat getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nicolae Ceaușescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Tarcisio Mangueira hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolae Ceaușescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Master Champion BMX Flat from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Master Champion BMX Flat's Iqbal Faturrahman got a free kick in the 90th minute. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lei Feng Yan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicolae Ceaușescu but with some difficulty. Sílvio Ferraz lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 94 minutes into the game, one of Master Champion BMX Flat:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lei Feng Yan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
