Barra Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Feng Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner. Lei Feng Yan went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice moves Umberto Moreno could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Esen Sanal however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal got control of the ball when Umberto Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavinho Rosado to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Flavinho Rosado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esen Sanal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 91st minute, Lucio Siekkötter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Barra Gøl. The goal made the score 1-4.
