Caxias do Sul's Lucio Siekkötter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sofyane Valognes. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over S.E.R. Caxias do Sul could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rathmore Lime Tree throughout the match.
