After the first half DENVER™ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Washington Lira made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Washington Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apat Reina made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Dráusio Garcia sent off a good shot on target. Nico Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Mendonça in the 61st minute of the match. Nico Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Gonçalves in the 63rd minute of play.
