Nenko Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Gonçalves in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Retumbante FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Décio Antonio hit a great ball. Apat Reina made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Roy Makaay sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute of the match Villaverde Celeste Clube got a corner. Retumbante FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guo Ao ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Guo Ao got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Apat Reina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Retumbante FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Retumbante FC's Apat Reina got control of the ball when Guo Ao tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Villaverde Celeste Clube got a corner. Retumbante FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guo Ao ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tang Qian Xiong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Apat Reina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Makaay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Cearense. Apat Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Makaay in the 33rd minute. Apat Reina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 38th minute of the match. Roy Makaay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Apat Reina made a huge save. Apat Reina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guo Ao in the 41st minute of play. Guo Ao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo de Azevedo got free with Apat Reina in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roy Makaay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Apat Reina firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 47th minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The audience was convinced that Roy Makaay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apat Reina was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. Apat Reina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roy Makaay's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Makaay in the 62nd minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Retumbante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Antonio to maneuver through the defense. Retumbante FC made a substitution. Luiz Fernando Mota replaced Basílio Cearense. After a rather tough play, Retumbante FC's Décio Antonio got a free kick in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guo Ao in the 69th minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Retumbante FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Lucas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Apat Reina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Roy Makaay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apat Reina was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Paulo Mendonça. For all the effort they put into the match, the Retumbante FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Villaverde Celeste Clube.
