In the 6th minute, Chico Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamílton Chaves came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by DENVER™'s Washington Lira. But to his dismay, Washington Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hamílton Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Lira in the 13th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Ligeiro F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DENVER™:s goal. Hamílton Chaves had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Dráusio Garcia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Denver Zago hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eric Burdon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Denver Zago hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Ligeiro F.C's Abel Saldanha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Denver Ponta hit a great ball. Hamílton Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Lira in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, DENVER™'s Nico Furlan got control of the ball when Frank Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hamílton Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Denver Zago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DENVER™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ligeiro F.C the free kick. Denver Zago hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Washington Lira to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Abel Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Trancoso in the 56th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Ligeiro F.C's corner Rubinho Cunha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nico Furlan quite easily take care of the ball. After 62 minutes, Washington Lira made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Lira got free with Hamílton Chaves in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Denver Ponta. DENVER™ made a substitution. Délio Campidelis replaced Washington Lira. In the 71st minute, Denver Ponta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Gribfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Délio Campidelis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamílton Chaves, 1-3. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Délio Campidelis sped through Ligeiro F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hamílton Chaves. After some careless play in the Ligeiro F.C defense, Délio Campidelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamílton Chaves. The Ligeiro F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamílton Chaves should have stopped the shot. Délio Campidelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Hamílton Chaves made a huge save. After 94 played minutes Délio Campidelis rounded Ligeiro F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. DENVER™'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
