Bernardinho Chaves hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Adelino Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Túlio Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ligeiro F.C. With his leg Túlio Silva managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Ligeiro F.C's Frank Tasso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Tasso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Túlio Silva. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Frank Tasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Silva. Toa Toa 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Tasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 13th minute, Bernardinho Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Ramalho came free, but Túlio Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amílton de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toa Toa 4EVER's protests and gave Amílton de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ligeiro F.C booed when Toa Toa 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Tasso in the 28th minute. Ligeiro F.C were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Toa Toa 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rubinho Cunha took the corner. 31 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's Abel Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Túlio Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Franklin Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Tasso got free with Túlio Silva in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Denílson Tinoco hit a great ball. In the 46th match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Deivid Galvão made the kick off in the second half. Túlio Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Saldanha in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Ligeiro F.C got a corner. Toa Toa 4EVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rubinho Cunha ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ligeiro F.C's Rubinho Cunha to fire away a dangerous shot which Túlio Silva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Franklin Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Cristian Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toa Toa 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Sá to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Toa Toa 4EVER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rubinho Cunha was slow to take the kick. During this time Ligeiro F.C's players had a chance to rest. 82 minutes into the game, Abel Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Túlio Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ligeiro F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
