But to his dismay, Marcelinho Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Noel Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Noel Neves got a free kick in the 41st minute. Eugênio Recife acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stamen Ringov. Carlos Fernando Branco's late challenge caught a Galo na Veia FC™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Fernando Branco helped the player get up and apologised. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Galo na Veia FC™'s Flavinho Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romário Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Barra Gøl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
