Villaverde Celeste Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvério Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 94 minutes into the game, Gino Monteiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Nenko Reza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Armandinho Xavier was substituted for Romário Carvalho.
